As summer begins to wind down, August brings golf outings, community gatherings, back-to-school preparations, and, of course, the start of hockey and football seasons! At Wolf & Shore Law Group, we are proud to have spent the month continuing to support several organizations that help make our local communities stronger.
Supporting the Wallingford Fire Department
At the end of July, Wolf & Shore Law Group supported a fundraiser benefiting the spouse of one of our dedicated firefighters at Wallingford Fire Department. Our local first responders dedicate themselves to protecting the people and families in their communities every day, and we are always happy to have an opportunity to support those who serve our towns.
Kicking Off Another Hockey Season!
August also means hockey season is right around the corner! We are excited to once again contribute to the Greater New Haven Warriors Launch Picnic, which brings Warriors families together to kick off the upcoming season.
Youth sports provide kids with so much more than just an opportunity to compete. They teach teamwork, commitment, resilience, accountability, and the importance of being part of something bigger than themselves. We love supporting programs that give local children opportunities to learn those lessons while making friendships and memories along the way.
We are especially excited to sponsor the practice jerseys for the West Haven Youth Hockey Program this season as well. Supporting youth hockey is an investment in the kids who show up at the rink week after week to practice, learn, compete, and become better teammates. We hope the players wear their new practice jerseys proudly!
Saint Lawrence School Annual Golf Classic
We continued our longstanding support of Saint Lawrence School by being a Diamond Sponsor for its Annual Golf Classic, which was hosted on Friday, August 14th at Orange Hills Country Club. The tournament is always a wonderful opportunity for families, alumni, supporters, and members of the community to come together while raising funds for the school. We are proud to continue supporting Saint Lawrence School and the many programs and experiences it provides for its students throughout the year.
New Haven County Bar Association Golf Tournament
We also had the honor of supporting the New Haven County Bar Association‘s annual golf tournament this month. As attorneys practicing throughout New Haven county, we value opportunities to support our local legal community outside of the courtroom. Events like the annual golf tournament allow attorneys, judges, and other members of the legal community to connect in a more relaxed setting while supporting the work of our local bar association.
