September Community Involvement: Supporting Our Schools, Athletes, and Community
At Wolf & Shore Law Group, we believe that being part of a community means showing up for it. Whether we’re supporting local schools, cheering on student athletes, or helping raise money for an important cause, giving back is something we take seriously. September was another busy month for Wolf & Shore Law Group, and we were proud to support four organizations and initiatives that make a difference in our Connecticut communities.
Ice Hockey x2
You know Wolf & Shore Law Group loves contributing to the hockey community! Hockey season kicked off last month, and we’re excited to continue to support the Guilford Grizzlies Boys Ice Hockey program and also begin supporting the Lyman Hall High School Boys Ice Hockey Program. School athletic programs provide opportunities for young athletes to develop teamwork, discipline, leadership, and resilience. The lessons learned on the ice often extend far beyond the rink, and we’re proud to support programs that encourage athletes to work hard, support their teammates, and grow both as players and individuals. We wish both the Guilford and LymanHall teams a fantastic hockey season!
Branford Police Department’s Tip-a-Cop for Special Olympics
We are also proud to support the Branford Police Department’s Tip-a-Cop fundraiser benefiting Connecticut Special Olympics. The Special Olympics program provides athletes with intellectual disabilities opportunities to participate in sports, develop confidence, build friendships, and experience the excitement of competition. Events like Tip-a-Cop demonstrate what can happen when local law enforcement, businesses, and community members come together for a shared purpose. We appreciate the Branford Police Department’s efforts to support these athletes and were happy to contribute to such a meaningful cause.
A.W. Cox Elementary School’s Family Fitness Event
Getting families moving and bringing a school community together? That’s something we can get behind! This September, Wolf & Shore Law Group supported A.W. Cox Elementary School in Guilford through its Family Fitness event by donating a wellness-based raffle basket. Events like these encourage healthy habits while giving students, parents, and teachers an opportunity to connect outside the classroom. They remind us that building a strong school community isn’t just about academics; it’s also about creating experiences that bring people together.
Giving Back Is Part of Who We Are
At Wolf & Shore Law Group, our work centers around families, and we understand the importance of strong communities in helping those families thrive. From elementary school fitness events to high school hockey programs and charitable fundraisers, each of this month’s initiatives reflects something we value: people coming together to support one another.
We’re grateful to the organizers, volunteers, coaches, educators, and community members who dedicate their time and energy to making these programs possible.
