Wolf & Shore Volunteers at Saint Lawrence School Summer Camp
At Wolf & Shore Law Group, we believe in giving back to our community—especially when it involves helping children learn, grow, and create! This week, we had the pleasure of volunteering at Saint Lawrence School’s Summer Camp for a special morning filled with creativity, learning, and a little bit of wind-powered fun.
We hosted a craft project where campers learned how pinwheels work in gardens—and then got the chance to make their own! Pinwheels are more than colorful decorations. They’ve long been used in gardens to deter pests by catching the wind and producing motion that startles small animals. Our team explained this simple science to the kids and tied it into a hands-on activity that encouraged them to personalize their own pinwheels.
The children decorated and personalized their pinwheels with excitement, learning how wind power can be both functional and fun. Some even talked about bringing them home to “plant” in their yards or gardens!
We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with young learners and help inspire curiosity through interactive projects. It was a joyful experience to see the kids’ faces light up as their pinwheels spun in the breeze. At Wolf & Shore Law Group, our commitment to our community goes beyond the courtroom.
