Do I need an attorney?
If you’re asking yourself this question, the answer is probably yes. All too often, we see pro se parties handle a matter for as long as possible and then contact an attorney when something goes wrong.  Unfortunately, sometimes that is too late. In order to best protect your legal interests, you should consider consulting an attorney as soon as you think you may want to proceed forward, or need to defend, a legal matter. By hiring an attorney, you will be able to ensure that you have proactive guidance on your side, someone who can advocate for you and who has your best interests in mind at all times.

If I retain an attorney at Wolf & Shore, LLC, am I retaining just one attorney or the entire firm?
We consider all of our clients to be firm clients. Our attorneys consult with each other and take a collaborative approach to each individual file to ensure face-to-face contact and personal and individualized service.

If I have a question about my case, will I be able to get in touch with my attorney?
Absolutely. The attorneys at Wolf & Shore, LLC routinely check their voicemail, email and fax. It is our office policy to return all phone calls, emails and faxes within one business day.

Is Wolf & Shore, LLC informed about new developments in the legal system?
Yes, our attorneys make it a part of their daily routine to review law articles and various legal issues in the news. Additionally, the attorneys of Wolf & Shore, LLC are very active in both attending and conducting continuing legal education classes and pro bono seminars to ensure that we, and our clients, are equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge possible. Our office also has the latest technology to allow the attorneys to receive constant legal updates.

I know there’s an “attorney-client privilege,” but does that mean that my consultation is confidential too?
Yes.  Regardless of whether or not you retain Wolf & Shore, LLC, anything said, or any documents reviewed, during your initial consultation remain strictly confidential.  If you provide us with any documentation and choose not to retain us, your documents will be returned to you immediately.

What is your privacy protection policy?
Wolf & Shore, LLC understands our clients’ concerns for privacy and the need to ensure such for all of your information. Your privacy is important to us and maintaining your trust and confidence is a high priority. We adhere strictly to the professional standards of confidentiality. Furthermore, it is our office policy to redact and shred any documents containing personal information that must be disposed.
